Don’t you hate that feeling when you want to post something on your Facebook Page but you haven’t planned anything in particular, or just feel stuck as to what you should be posting?
Here are 3 ideas for content you can post when you have no idea what to post!
1. Inspirational or motivational quotes
These are used by Facebook marketers a lot because they’re great for giving your fans a little shot of inspiration right there in their newsfeeds.
Choose (or create) a beautiful image to go right along with your quote, and make sure it’s relevant to your audience. Think about what would support their emotional needs, or how you can help them overcome a problem you know they’re facing – for example, how to overcome feeling demotivated, or how to get super productive. Anything they can use right now is sure to be a winner!
2. Share something you saw and loved
Have you recently read a great blog post written by one of your favourite bloggers? Spotted a relevant article in a newspaper with fascinating info? Or perhaps you know something that’s a classic but that your fans would enjoy reading about.
You need to keep it relevant, as above, but when you’re in a fix as to what to post, sharing other people’s content is a great way to be helpful to your fans.
3. Post something about yourself
This is my favourite option of all; your content should be about building a relationship of trust between you and your fans, and they need to know that you’re looking out for them. However, they’d also like to get to know a little bit more about you. It could be as simple as posting your favourite breakfast recipe to show your community how you get the best start to your day, or it might be making a short video introducing yourself and reminding your fans exactly what it is that you do and how they can work with you on a deeper level if they’re interested.
Either way, you’re letting your audience see a little more of you.
Remember – the key to your success is to take action – what are you waiting for? Take action now.
